Development updates

What is changing in ChronVale.

Product milestones, recent systems, and the work happening before ChronVale opens to a wider audience.

Launch build diversity and combat strategy

ChronVale's launch buildcraft now centers on five base classes, ten subclasses, a shared General skill layer, and tactical combat stances.

  • Ranger and Mystic joined Warrior, Rogue, and Scholar as launch classes, bringing Beastmaster, Sentinel, Oracle, and Hexblade identities into the starting roster.
  • Skill trees now enforce one base-class path per hero while keeping a low-risk General layer available to every class.
  • Arena, dungeons, and guild raids support Balanced, Aggressive, Defensive, and Precise stances with readable combat damage breakdowns.

Public identity and launch operations

The live launch state now includes stronger guild showcases, contributor recognition, public collection prestige, and search/analytics setup.

  • Guild capitals, contributor labels, weekly pulse, recruitment guidance, public companion highlights, Collection prestige, and Legendary Hunt showcase details are visible across social surfaces.
  • Premium and cosmetic checkout moved to Lemon Squeezy live products, while Google Search Console, GA4, Vercel Analytics, and Bing Webmaster wiring support launch visibility.
  • The current review pass is updating public page copy, new art, UI/UX, accessibility, and performance before the next feature expansion.

Release Track R1: presentation and discoverability

ChronVale's pre-release work is focused on a stronger first impression, mobile usability, technical SEO, analytics, and launch operations.

  • The public landing experience now explains the browser idle loop, current systems, Premium value, and the no-pay-to-win promise.
  • Desktop and mobile navigation were reorganized, touch targets improved, and inventory details made usable without hover.
  • Social sharing images, structured data, sitemap, robots rules, and public product pages are being added before broader launch activity.

Collection Log completes Phase 5.3.3

The Collection Log brings equipment, relics, companions, achievements, and hidden discoveries into a single long-term completion system.

  • Category progress gives players visible collection goals beyond combat strength.
  • Hidden entries preserve discovery while milestone rewards recognize sustained completion.
  • The next gameplay feature is Legendary Hunts, paused while release readiness receives focused attention.

Relics deepen buildcraft and discovery

Relics introduced level-gated slots, passive effects, fusion, and hidden recipes that connect progression with experimentation.

  • Players can equip up to three relics as their hero advances.
  • Fusion recipes create stronger discoveries and reward learning how the world fits together.
  • Relics contribute to the Collection Log and the long-term prestige layer.

Companions join the Vale

Eight companions added a new progression path through feeding, activation, expeditions, evolution, and hidden forms.

  • Active companions provide a visible part of each hero's identity.
  • Expeditions create another offline activity with its own return rhythm.
  • Evolution paths combine clear goals with rarer forms intended for community discovery.

The next chapter starts with your first hero.
